BIO:
Done Miljanovski
Don Miljanovski was born in 1941 in the village of Statica, Kostur region, Aegean Macedonia.
He finished primary school and high school in Hungary, and in 1961 he was admitted to the Academy of Applied Arts in Budapest, Department of Textiles in the class of Zoltan Rakoshi and Karoj Plesnivi.
In 1967 he graduated and received a one-year postgraduate scholarship.
In 1968 he returned to Macedonia in Skopje and the same year he became a member of DLUM.
In 1971 he was employed by RTS as an illustrator in the TV design department, and in 1978 in the scenography and costume design department.
In 1977 he went on a study trip to Paris.
In 1991 he started working as an assistant professor in the subject of textile design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje. In addition to solo exhibitions, as a member of DLUM, Miljanovski exhibits at exhibitions organized by the Association, both in the country and abroad.

1995 Rensom award at the 11th International Graphic Triennial in Norway
