BIO:
Trajche Nikolovski (1918-2003)
Trajce Nikolovski was born in 1918 in Prilep, Macedonia.
He finished high school of art in Skopje - first generation.
He completed the education on the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1953.
Member of DLUM since 1953, member of the Art pedagogues of Yugoslavia and president of the Art foundation "Mosha Pijade" in Belgrade.
In 1963 he was specializing in Paris, as a scholarship holder of the ”Mosha Piade” Foundation.
As a member of the Yugoslav Children's exhibition commission, he was awarded a prize and sent as a delegate to the 1966 World Congress of Art educators in Prague.
In his works he have many differentials that contain valuable creative values. In some of his works, he maintains the real attitude towards the object where the figure is the basic characteristic of the artistic expression. In addition, the figurative art is dominated by the portrait, where it is persistent and ambitious. Works from the National Liberation Struggle also occupy an important place.
The artist throughout his life creates, following his emotional and objective life, issuing many works after wich he will be remembered.

1980, 1981 - Award from the self-governing Interesting community for upbringing and education of the city of Skopje
1988 - Charter, City association of Art educators; Recognition from the Association of Art educators of Yugoslavia
